Washingtonian Tech Titans

With local start-ups like Tech CocktailOPOWER and LivingSocial making waves, D.C.’s tech scene is in full bloom. Who’s sowing the seeds, tending the fields and watering the soil where this blossoming market has taken root?

Hitting newsstands recently was the latest Washingtonian Magazine, including “Tech Titans“: their list of the 100 most influential leaders, do-ers and thinkers in D.C.’s technology industry.

JESS3’s Leslie Bradshaw and Jesse Thomas made the list as “[t]he creative geniuses behind one of the region’s hottest agencies.” Among JESS3’s accomplishments, Washingtonian highlighted our work making it possible for Commander Doug “Astro Wheels” Wheelock to conduct the first foursquare check-in from outer space.

“We’re really pleased to be honored alongside folks like fellow power-couple Jen Consalvo and Frank Gruber , community leader Justin Thorp, and White House new media guru Macon Phillips, who have proven critical to cultivating the environment needed for D.C.’s next generation of technological innovation,” Leslie told me today. “In addition to working with clients from across the world, like Intel and Samsung, we’ve been excited and appreciative for the opportunity to add some creative flare to the work of D.C.-based brands, like Discovery Channel, C-SPAN, the Washington Post and NASA.”
