We’ve been following Italian artist, Blu, for some time now. His street art is impressive in its scale, detail, and meaning.
Blu became more visible in late 2010 after the Moca mural controversy, in which Blu made a strong political statement with his depiction of coffins draped with dollar bills instead of American flags – a commentary on the ugly business of war. The mural was white-washed the following day, thus igniting a debate about censorship and street art across the web and traditional media outlets.
