Childish Gambino – “Heartbeat”

NYC radio station Hot 97 premiered the newest track off of Childish Gambino’s new record Camp last week. If you haven’t heard of Childsh Gambino, you may have heard of the artist by his real name: Donald Glover, a comedian most well known for his role of Troy on NBC’s Community.

BeyoncĂ© – “Party”

Though some aren’t too crazy about the song, it’s hard not to love the fun summertime vibe in this newest BeyoncĂ© video. Look closely and you’ll spot some cute cameos from Kelly Rowland, Solange, Theophilus London and the awesome Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange), whose “Sutphin Boulevard” is one of the best songs of 2011.

An unfinished track from the late hook-master that will be appearing on Dr Dre’s upcoming record “Detox”. RIP Nate Dogg! Allen Stone – “Unaware”

We love this song off young soul singer Allen Stone’s latest release and we’re not the only ones: Stone’s self-titled record is already number 4 on the iTunes R&B charts this week!

The Airborne Toxic Event – “Changing”

Check out the song “Changing” from The Airborne Toxic Event. I heard this song the other day and really liked it! It has a sweet almost vintage sound. The music video feels like a old timey beer commercial.

Sarah Jaffe – “Shut it Down”

It seems young Texan songwriter-songwriter Sarah Jaffe has finally been getting the attention she deserves over the last year. Her haunting 2008 release, Even Born Again was one of my favorites that year, and was re-released by her label, Kirland Records a few months ago. Tomorrow, Sarah’s newest record “The Way Sound Leaves a Room” comes out.

Frank Ocean/Bridget Kelly – “Thinking About You/Forever”

High 5 Collective recently added to the mystery of the Frank Ocean track “Thinking About You” by releasing a mystical video for the melancholic track. The mystery in question revolves around which artist this song belongs to. Originally leaked as a Frank Ocean demo, it later came to light that it was written for RocNation’s Bridget Kelly, who has given several interviews talking about working on the song with Ocean – which, for Kelly, is called “Thinking About Forever” – and just released a video of herself performing the song on YouTube a few weeks ago.

Train – “Save Me San Francisco”

Every time we return to San Francisco, we fall in love with the city all over again. This cute video by Train is like a mini 4-minute romantic comedy and a love letter to one of the top cities in the country, all rolled into one.
