Released today, the video for the ethereal Beach House tune “Wishes” (off of last year’s Bloom) is something to behold.

Directed by Eric Wareheim — one half of  Tim and Eric — the video is sort of like an episode of Friday Night Lights, if that episode were set in a futuristic utopia, complete with light sabers, nun chucks, and Ray Wise (of Twin Peaks fame) riding on a white horse as fireworks explode in the background.

While some of the weirder elements are very Tim and Eric, the overall effect is quite beautiful and haunting.
