While in New York City over the weekend for SA500, I took the opportunity to stop by Zuccotti Park to see for myself what the occupation of Wall Street looked like. While there, I hung out with director Kevin Smith and other random celebrities, musicians and troublemakers of all shapes and fashions. Overall it, felt like what I would imagine a modern day Woodstock festival to be like, mixed with a civil rights sit-in with random smatterings of protest vibes. I watched kids handing out joints and young couples kissing while talented live musicians sang songs about freedom. There seemed to be great healthy food in abundance for the protestors – everything a teenager could ever want and more.
