Last weekend, the JESS3 team set up its very first pop up store at the Arlington County Fair August 19th – 22nd in Arlington, Va. Over the course of the three days the team sold over 150 shirts and more than 50 hoodies without dropping a dime on traditional marketing efforts. Instead we ran “Social Media Promotions” leveraging attendees’ tweets, Facebook status updates and foursquare check-ins for free posters for them and free brand equity for us. Everybody wins.
