JESS3’s NYC Adventure: All Work & Some Play

Last week several members of the JESS3 Team made the trek to New York City to oversee the final stages of a corporate event that we have been working on for several months. Needless to say, the event was a success and the clients were thrilled with the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail that the JESS3 Team provided. Though the days were long and work-filled, the JESS3 Team made the most of their time and were able get away from the busy work schedule to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the city that never sleeps.

Day 1: A trip to Brooklyn and back:

Our first night we had a late-night stroll through the East Village and snapped one picture:

With several of the JESS3 members in New York City on business, some of us needed a temporary place to set up shop to continue our tireless work producing JESS3 gold. Shootdigital Studios kindly opened its doors to a couple of us so we could do just that:

JESS3 Executive Producer, Tracey Carl, once called Shootdigital home (work) when she lived in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to work for JESS3. Upon our arrival to New York City, Tracey reached out to her former coworkers who welcomed us to come set up in their office, drink their coffee, and use their WiFi, which made for an efficient and entertaining couple of days.

Our EP hard at work:

The studio, located in the NoHo area of Manhattan, provided great spaces to work as well as classic city views:

We even had some in-house entertainment (sadly, Snooki was not present). Hector, Shootdigital Jefe/Bossman/PR Practitioner/Barrista/Hedonist, provided us with coffee, water, and endless amounts of laughter during our two days in the studio:

The remainder of the week was largely dedicated to the event we had planned, but we continued to take in as many sights as we could, whenever we could. Here is a stroll through Union Square in search of a bathroom:

A quick glance at Time Square on the way to meet a vendor:

A view from below the new World Trade Center:

We even got to see the Statue of Liberty…can you spot it?

Overall, the week was a huge success. The JESS3 Team worked hard, impressed their clients, and got to enjoy themselves in the Big Apple. Several of us took the last night to ourselves to explore the city and celebrate our efforts with food, friends, and drink.
