Earlier this year we witnessed Chiddy Bang’s MC (real name Chidera) break the Guinness World Record for longest freestyle at the first ever MTV O Music Awards, and now it looks like the group is finally gearing up to release a full length album, “Breakfast”, due out January 2012. The first song to drop from the upcoming release is “Ray Charles” – a possible nod to Kanye and Jay-Z’s “Otis” tinged with equal parts Motown and early 90s vibes (Chiddy’s flow sounds eerily like Skee-lo’s in a few spots), all wrapped up in a fun little jam.
