Kanye West has hooked up with Nike to put out a shoe designed by mr.west called the Air Yeezy. For those not in the hip hop scene, the name is a reference from a kanye west rhyme “where are you yeezy”.

The design of the shoe instantly reminded me of the marty mcfly shoe in back to the future part 2.

I have noticed a number of contests and raffles for the shoe utilizing social media viral strategies. We can learn from this.
